The Mediterranean Center for French Studies of Cap d’Ail is a non-profit linguistic and cultural campus located in the heart of the Côte d’Azur, open all year round since 1952, labeled FLE Quality. It has received nearly 300,000 participants from around the world in these programs since the beginning. For 30 years, it has specialized in teaching French to international middle and high school students (12/17 year olds – 4000 per year), accompanied (academic year) or individual (in summer).
Its 3 hectare park overlooking the Mediterranean on the hillside, hosts a splendid theater decorated in the antique style by the great poet Jean Cocteau, between 1957 and 1963.
The CMEF is a privileged base for discovering the cultural and natural beauties of the region, from Cannes to Menton via Antibes, Nice and Monaco, as well as for practicing water activities and walks by the sea in the summer.
